Diary (Easter)

Horses

In the midst of an encouragingly busy period, our team of enthusiastic horses are continuing to do us proud. Being asked to turn their hooves to a varied schedule of events, the Gilfach horses are responding with honesty and professionalism.

Bobby is back up to speed - providing guests with a laid-back experience, with just enough "cheek" to keep them on their toes!

Molly is a new horse - & no longer a novice ride!

Billy, our new recruit, still finding his feet, but getting where we need him to be step by step.

Jewel, the last "baby" is proving her maturity undertaking her first "big" hack of a large group of Gilfach horses over challenging terrain (then having to stand patiently whilst us riders were refreshed at the Shoemakers!) with aplomb.

People

The human team are working hard! Hopefully (although I may be just speaking for myself and Hugh here!) all are enjoying the many and varied challenges of making our yard run like clockwork, whilst caring for our very valued horses and clients.

The Farm

The fabulous weather that has graced Britain is helping to make Gilfach the most beautiful of places to live, work and visit. When I take time to stop and stare - our wonderful farm is looking better than ever...
