Gilfach Farm Livery and Holiday Cottage

Diary - Mid August 2012

More galavanting has meant that the Gilfach horses are still having a lighter work load! But a break from work is good for the mind, body and soul (my new philosophy!!)

I had thought that my plan to find Oscar a friend had "kind of failed, with 'Ringo' needing quite a dominant "master", and not into playing silly Choc Lab type games, and being totally obsessed with me", and that he may have to go back to his former home. However, having had some advice from a Dog behavioural specialist, have had my mind changed, and will now have to work on getting up to speed with dog body language - which is so different to horse body language. Wish us luck!

My last planned adventure for the summer has just happened. A hugely generous and supportive friend gave up their Olympic ticket for the freestyle to music on Thursday for me! It was a fabulous, once in a life-time day.

We hope to welcome you also soon.
